How do I calculate a log using a TI-Nspire family product?
To enter a logarithm function using a TI-Nspire family product, you may either type the function directly into the unit or go through the catalog to use the function.Example 1: Compute log(100).
1) Press [home].
2) Press [ctrl] [+page].
3) Press 1: Add Calculator to add a new calculator page.
4) Press the [catalog] (the key with a book printed on it).
5) Scroll to log(
6) Press [enter].
Please Note: You can also type the function "log(" into your unit using your keypad.
7) Input the number 100 and press [enter].
Example 2: Compute the log base 100 of 2.
1) Press [home].
2) Press [ctrl] [+page].
3) Press 1: Add Calculator to add a new calculator page.
4) Press [ctrl] [log].
5) In the first dotted box that appears, type in the number 100.
6) In the second dotted box, type in the number 2, and then press [enter].
