Why are TI-SmartView CE and TI Connect CE applications flagged as unsafe by Microsoft Defender SmartScreen?
When attempting to install either TI-SmartView CE or TI-Connect CE a window may appear stating "Windows protected your PC - Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk".
This is caused because Windows Defender is flagging our installer as unsafe. This warning may stop appearing after further data is collected by Microsoft. Further information can be found at the Microsoft Article below:
To bypass the warning and choose to [Run anyway] or [Install].
