The summation failures occur when the calculator attempts to locate an exact equivalence for a calculation that can only be displayed as a decimal approximation. To correct the "busy" error when you are calculating sigma summation, please verify that the calculator's mode is set to approximate. It may be necessary to press the ON key to exit the calculation. To check the calculator's mode settings and/or change the mode, please follow the steps below:• Press [MODE].
• Press [F2].
• Arrow down to Exact/Approximate.
• Press the right arrow key once.
• Press 3: Approximate.
• Press [ENTER] to save.
• Press [HOME].
• Press [F3] and reenter your values.
