Why isn't my non-China TI-Nspire handheld not displaying "Wrong Handheld type for the OS being sent" message when transferring a Chinese dictionary to it?
Problem Description:
When attempting to transfer the Chinese dictionary to a non-China unit, user should receive a "Wrong Handheld type for the OS being sent" message.
Instead
•On the handheld: Dictionary Install dialog is displayed "Receiving Dictionary install file. Do not unplug cable. Save any open Document." •On the PC: When the installing progress is almost complete an Error message “You cannot install a version of the OS that is older than the currently installed version" is displayed.
Workaround:
None. Chinese dictionary cannot be installed on neither a non-Chinese CX unit nor a CM-C unit. User must connect a Chinese CX (CX-C) unit.
