Solution 36014: Performing T-Test Computations Using A TI-Nspire™ Family Product

How do I compute a T-Test using the TI-Nspire family line of products?

The following example demonstrates how to perform a T-Test calculation using any of the TI-Nspire family line of products given a list of data points.

Data for this example (which will be designated as 'L1'): {10.7, 10.8, 11.9, 12.3, 12.9}

• Press [home] and click on "Add Lists & Spreadsheets".
• Press [▲] [▲] [L] [1] [▼] [▼] to name the list L1.
• Press [1] [0] [.] [7] [▼].
• Press [1] [0] [.] [8] [▼].
• Press [1] [1] [.] [9] [▼].
• Press [1] [2] [.] [3] [▼].
• Press [1] [2] [.] [9] [▼].
  
  
• Press [menu] [4] [4] [2] [enter] to select the T-Test.
  
  
  
  
• Press [3] [0] [0] [tab] [►] [►].
• Select "l1" which is the list name.
  
  
• Press [enter] to display the results.
