How do I find the complex conjugate of an argument using the TI-Nspire family products?

The conj() function is used to find the complex conjugate of an argument. The conj() function can be used with an expression, a list, or a matrix. The syntax for complex conjugate is as follows:

Conj(Expr1)=expression
Conj(List1)=list
Conj(Matrix1)=matrix

Example: Find the complex conjugate of expression 1+3i .

• Press [home].
• Press 1: New Document.
• Press 1: Add Calculator.
• Press [menu].
• Press 2: Number, 9: Complex Number Tools, and 1: Complex Conjugate.



• The display will show conj(.
• Press [1] [+] [3] [p].
• Arrow over to i and press [enter].
• Press [enter] to display the answer.
