Why does the TI-Smartview CE™ software display a sensor in use by Vernier® Chrome based Graphical Analysis application on Mac®?
Example:
1. Launch the Graphical Analysis application.
2. Connect a sensor and check that Graphical Analysis detects it.
3. Launch TI-Smartview CE software.
In the TI-Smartview CE desktop software the sensor is detected in [Menu] Actions -> Choose Data Collection Sensor and Vernier’s Chrome based Graphical Analysis app stops updating.
TI-Smartview CE should not display the sensor since the sensor is in use by Vernier’s Chrome based Graphical Analysis app.
Texas Instruments is aware of the reported problem and may be resolved at the earliest in a future release.
A suggested workaround is to not allow the interaction to occur simultaneously.
